TEA RINSES FOR THE HAIR

The natural hair journey is an interesting one, a lot of things i have got to know along the line. A lot of cheap but healthy things that can be found in your cabinet which promotes a healthy hair growth.

A tea rinse is simply brewing a type of tea, allowing it to to steep and cool and pouring over your hair. Like you want to make your tea to drink but this time for your hair..

I put in 4-6 bags in a jar,add hot water allow to sit over night to ensure i extract all i can from it. I store this in the fridge and use after my wash on saturdays.  The quantity depends on how full your hair is and how long you want to use this for if not 2 bags should be okay.

You might want to massage the scalp and let it sit for a while before a rinse off. Some say you have to deep condition after a tea rinse as it has a drying effect while some say you can use as a leave in if you want and can also be added to your spray water. I guess its really about what works for you, i dont deep condition after and my hair feels good anyways.

I use it as a last rinse after i wash and deep condition. I have used this for 3 weeks now(3times) and i like it. I may have to add to my spray water too.

After all the great benefits i read about,i knew i had to try this;

Most Teas contain some trace amounts of caffeine that penetrate the hair strands and promote hair growth by increasing blood flow, they also have cleansing properties that protect against chemical damage ,repair split ends and exfoliate the scalp.

There are different types to choose from with their various effects . The most common around me is the Green and Black Tea and thats what i am using now, i got some rosemary leaves, should try this too.

Black Tea; Black Tea contains the most caffeine and caffeine blocks DHT,the hormone responsible for hair loss
                      Reduces shedding
                      Adds shine and softens hair
                      Darkens Hair
                      Strengthens and thickens hair

Green Tea; Green Tea is an excellent source of antioxidants and that is why it is great for health.
                       Reduces shedding
                       Stimulates hair growth
Soothes dandruff, psoriasis and other scalp irritations naturally
                       Adds volume to the hair.

STICK TO A HEALTHY REGIMEN, LENGTH WILL FOLLOW!!!!

Have you tried a Tea Rinse or is this something you can try?
